Interview

During April/May 2020 -in the time of confinement- the students of the course Systems of Representation of La Salle School of Architecture contacted representatives of cultural and civic associations of Hospitalet. First of all, they carried out a research on the Internet about the work of these associations, to know the work they do.

The students, working in teams of 3 to 5, prepared the questionnaires based on the topics first discussed in the online sessions with teachers. Then, they organized the meetings with the civic representatives and conducted the interviews. Due to the constraints of the confinement, contacts had to be made only online and by phone. Finally, the student team created a video with the image and sound recordings.

At the end the course, the teachers analysed the content of the interviews and produced a series of short videos. Each video focuses on a specific topic:

- Building relationships

- Spaces to breath are needed

- Feeling from L’Hospitalet

- Fragmented city

- The city centre

The purpose of these short videos is to initiate a debate on these issues among the community. Therefore, each video is linked to an online questionnaire for the citizens of Hospitalet to convey their experience of living in the city.
